For this piece I used color that captured the turning of the seasons. The shifts from green to yellows and reds details the welcoming of fall. Fall is a nostalgic time of year for me, with memories of hunting with my dad, brothers, grandpa, cousins and uncles. These memories bring happiness for the relationships that I built during those times, and a longing for repeated connection with these people I love. Just as the beauty of fall is in the changing of the colors, I have seen the beauty of life in the changing and maturing of these relationships.
