Founder Keanan Janus is located in the Bitterroot Valley of southwest Montana. He has always had an interest in Geology and Mineralogy. He has over 16 years of metalworking experience and has been educated by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) as an Applied Jewelry Professional, Colored Stone Grader, Diamond Grader, along with a Gem Cutter. His motivation for creating Western Gem & Jewel comes from wanting to help people get quality jewelry, gems, and specimens without having to deal with outrageous prices or any inauthentic products.
